Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! So, here is the second post as mentioned in my first post.Yes people, I am going to talk about self-acceptance today.
In short, self-acceptance is the act of accepting one’s self, but in what way? If you ask me, it should be in good or bad ways. It is not a bad thing to embrace your own perfection and flaws, but we are all human beings – we are not born perfect.
We are born to make mistakes and our mistakes should be our guidance in living. Self-acceptance allows you to be more positive, that’s what important about self-acceptance in whole. We need positive vibes, so we need to practice self-acceptance.
For instance, I am born with blemishes on my face. I have tried many products, but I still do not feel pretty enough. Of course there are others who have flawless skin, but I do not see the point of comparing my face with theirs. We should acknowledge the fact that all of us have our own beauty and that’s where the self-acceptance takes place. We should know that our skin works differently.
Now, do you get what I mean?
Embrace the fact that we do not get to live the same way as other people and you will be happier than you have ever expected.
