Acceptance & Unconditional Love

Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone! Now, we have
reached the end of my blog post.
Today, I’m going to talk on the most topic that
people can be mostly relate to – love!
People usually know what love is in general, but do people
know the types of love?
Do people understand what conditional and unconditional love
means?
There are people saying that if it’s conditional, it’s not
love. But, do we really have to love unconditionally?
Do we have to accept to love unconditionally? What do we
have to accept?
Paul (2013) suggests that love doesn’t have to be earned and
to be proven. When someone truly loves you, they love you for who you are, not
for what you do. This is where the acceptance part plays its role.
How do we love unconditionally?
Pool (2010) said that loving unconditionally is more of a
behaviour versus feeling. Imagine the satisfaction being that feeling you get
when you act a certain way for them, not when someone else acts a certain way
to you. This becomes a pure act of generosity.
Yes, unconditional love is a part of generosity, but not
everyone can reach unconditional love.
Unconditional love is not about expecting something from the
party. It’s not about being loved back.
It’s just something that everyone is
yet to reach and it is not that easy.
Ask yourself if you love someone conditionally or
unconditionally. Think about it.
I guess this marks the end of my blog post. I’m happy to be
able to write all the posts for you. I hope you gain something from this blog.
Thank you very much for your reading!
Much love,
Farzana
